India’s Silent War: Tribals crossing (NMDC) Bailadila mines area in south Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district. The Bailadila hills are known for having India’s richest deposits of iron ore. Villagers returning from Bacheli Market to their villages. They have to walk 40 to 50 Km to reach their Villages. Villagers go to Bacheli market with a few bottles of sulfi (an alcoholic beverage extracted from a local species of palm tree) to sell, buys Salt and rice.This area is under the heavy influence of left wing extremist-called Naxal.
